April Showers

Posted by Natalie Miceli on 2017/04/07

With all of this rain, it's a little hard to picture the nice weather, but you know how the saying goes "April showers bring May flowers". The rain is expected to clear up this weekend and we have some awesome events lined up in the cruiser for you!

You can find us at the Kiwanis Spring Food Drive at No Frills on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa on Saturday morning. Bring a non-perishable food donation and help a family in need this Easter.

We will be digging into some delish Mac and Cheese and baked goods after that, at the Durham College Epic Mac and Cheese Competition and Pop Up Bake Shop event at the W. Galen Weston Centre for Food. Students will be competing for the best recipe.

The learning fun continues at UOIT on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa for the 2017 Durham Regional Science Fair. Check out the entries and catch the awards ceremony.

On Sunday we will be at Carutther's Marsh Pavilion in Ajax for the 7th Annual Outrun Cystic Fibrosis 5K Walk and Run!

You will also see us at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery in Oshawa for OPG Second Sundays and the One Stop Shop Fundraiser for Mental Health at the Oshawa and District Shrine Club on Simcoe Street North.

Hope to see you along the way! If you have an event that you would like us to know about, drop me a line at: natalie@ckdo.ca
