Festivals, Fairs and Fundraisers!

Posted by Natalie Miceli on 2018/06/01

It's a weekend of all things starting with F!

I'll be starting my weekend at the Brooklin Spring Fair where you can see me in the parade at 10:30AM. You'll notice a bit of a bee atmosphere going on as this year's theme is "Our Favourite Place to Bee", and of course that's the Brooklin Spring Fair! Next up if you're ready for a spring car wash then stop by the Charity Car Wash at King Street Community Church before 1:00PM where you could make money getting your car washed rather than spending it! There will be a free BBQ to enjoy while you wait for your car and refreshments for everyone!

On Sunday I'll be starting my day back in Pickering at the 22nd Annual Dragon Boat Festival. There will be lots of edge of your seat racing all day long as well as ice cream treats and vendors to enjoy! After I've worked up an appetite I'll be heading over to the Pickering Rib Fest to enjoy some delicious ribs and even check out a midway ride or two. There will be live entertainment and all the ribs you can eat all day long! Next I'll be heading to the Oshawa Museum for Sunday Funday which happens the first Sunday of every month. This time you can come out and check out the beautiful gardens they have to offer and hangout with museum staff and volunteers.

Hope to see you out in the GTA this weekend! Remember, if you have an event you think we should know about you can always send me an email at:

-Natalie :)
