We were getting in the mood for Halloween at the Oshawa Community Museum saturday at their Halloween Haunt at the Harbour! With a tour of the Pioneer Cemetery on Bonnie Brae Point; hanging out with Spirit Matters, a local paranormal investigation team and D & D Exotics with giant snakes, tortoises, lizards and insects; then we got freaked out as we wandered through the 'Goo, Guts, & Gore' tables.
The 2nd Annual Hearth Place 5K on the Runway in support of Hearth Place Cancer Support Center took over the Oshawa Airport sunday. Participants ranging from serious runners, to recreational walkers got to 'on the go' on the actual runway at the airport for a good cause. All air traffic was on hold while runners, walkers, friends, families and their supporters participated.
