Model Trains and Visits from Santa

Posted by Laura Belford on 2011/11/24

Father Leo J. Austin School opened up their doors for The Annual Pine Ridge Railroaders Model Railroad Show. There was numerous operating layouts from across the region in various scales, experts on site to answer questions and help you get started in this hobby as well as vendors.  It was quite the sight to see all the train sets under one roof!

We also took part in the Oshawa and Newcastle Santa Claus Parades. Both night parades were spectacular with lots of great floats and lights, music from live bands and of course a visit from the Jolly Man in Red!

We will also be taking part in the Port Perry Santa Claus Parade this weekend. It starts at 5:00pm leaving from the Port Perry Fairgrounds, join us as the floats light up the sky and get you in the mood for the holiday season.

If you have an event you think we should be at drop me an email laura@ckdo.ca and follow me on twitter @laurabelford
