Dead North: Theatrical Readings of Canadian Zombie Fiction

Get your Halloween off to a chilling start with this evening of macabre storytelling, Canadian style. Oshawa Little Theatre and Theatre 3×60 are teaming up to present 5 dramatized stories from the anthology – Dead North, a collection of zombie stories tied to Canadian locales and legends. The anthology is published by Exile Editions and actors and directors from both theatre companies will perform tales by Chantal Boudreau, Tessa J. Brown, Linda DeMeulemeester, Claude Lalumiere and Beth Wodzinski.

Starting at 7 pm in OLT’s licensed rehearsal studio, there is a cash bar, door and costume prizes and an exhibition of zombie-themed art. The storytelling wraps up early enough to allow fans and fanatics to stay and celebrate Hallowe’en zombie-style or head into the night.

Tickets are only $10,00, and seating is limited, so purchase early at: or the Oshawa Little Theatre. All ticket proceeds to benefit both Theatre 3×60 and Oshawa Little Theatre.
