Pancake Breakfast @ Ribfest

The Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood is serving a delicious pancake breakfast today and tomorrow from 8:30AM until noon at the Rotary Ribfest. The cost will be $4.50 for pancakes and sausage/or/ back bacon and it can
supersized for a little more! Coffee will also be available for $1.50. Come get the most important (and tastiest) meal of the day and help support the Rotary Club.

The JCI Durham Challenge is the region’s newest, and most fun adventure challenge. This is an Amazing Race style competition. Teams will be performing a variety of challenges at checkpoints through Durham and return to the finish line as fast as they can. The challenges are based on skills, knowledge, logic and endurance. This event will take place on September 11, at 10:00 am and will wrap up about 4:00 pm. All efforts will be to help raise funds for Eastview Boys and Girls Club. Play a fun game of golf with friends at the Lyndebrook Golf Course with all the proceeds from this event going toward the Haiti earthquake relief and the rebuilding and reconstruction of the ICC's Grace Children's Hospital which has been serving the Delmas community in Port-au-Prince for over 40 years. Registration is at 7AM, and you can play until you are tired of golfing! If 7AM is too early, feel free to show up later! There will be a complementary breakfast (croissants, muffins, juices) and a lasagne lunch will be provided.
