The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes presents the 12th Annual Dave Devall Golf Tournament. This tournament will be a four-person team scramble, with a shotgun start at 12:30pm. Golfers of all skill-levels are encouraged to participate.
The tournament will include a BBQ lunch provided by Kelsey's, a putting challenge, silent auction, prize ceremony and chicken or vegetarian dinner. The entry fee of $125 includes Golf, Use of Cart, Lunch, Dinner, Prizes and a Putting Challenge Voucher.
The Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes serves as a base of operations for society's multi-faceted animal welfare work. The HSKL is a registered charitable organization that does not receive any on-going funding from the government. The sustainability of this society depends on the support of the community.
Lindsay Golf & Country Club has been voted the area's finest, with a blend of parkland and link-style holes, 5 sets of tees, an exceptional practice facility, and a fully-stocked Pro Shop with CPGA professionals. Measuring 5,158 to just over 7,000 yards, it offers both a challenging and enjoyable experience for all levels.

This year we are taking on the initiative to help support children effected with Persistent Hyperplastic Primary Vitreous aka PHPV. Essentially this conditions causes complete blindness. There is HOPE, with only handful of hospitals in the United States and handful of Surgeons the child can undergo a series of operations for correction to a degree enabling eyesight, with chances of full recovery. The cost for one surgery/hospital recovery stay is $25,000 Canadian. Thus we along with your support would like to ease the financial burden and provide opportunity for SIGHT!!!
We are raising money through a number of different events with 100% of the profits going the funding for this crippling disease.
