It’s the first official weekend of summer in Durham Region!
Derek will be in for me this weekend and he’ll be starting the weekend off at K9 Central in Bowmanville for the Homeward Bound Rescue Canine Carnival! Bring your furry friends out for a day of fun in the sun including their dock diving, agility courses and more!
he’ll be heading to the Lynde House Museum in Whitby afterwards for the Steampunk Extravaganza! Dress in your best Victorian fashion for a fun filled day complete with museum tours, music, magic and dancing as well!
If you’re in need of a car wash you can find him at Canadian Tire Ajax afterwards where the Whitby girls soccer team will be hosting a car wash between 10:00am-3:00pm with all proceeds going towards the team!
On Sunday you can find him starting his day off at the Glen Rouge Campground in Scarborough! They always have a great selection of guided trail hikes and you can explore the beautiful Rouge Park! Check out a full list and RSVP for yours at pc.gc.ca.
Afterwards he’ll be heading to Port Perry to check out Hoot For Hospice! You can check it out at the corner of Queen and Perry Street where hundreds of painters will be showing off their skills for this unique fundraiser.
