  • Bright Comet Observing Party

Join us at Millennium Square, at the south end of Liverpool Road in Pickering, to observe one of brightest comets to come our way in decades! Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) is gracing our western sky after sunset and it might be bright enough to be seen by eye alone! We will have binoculars and telescopes there to give you exceptional views.

Registration is not required, and there is no charge to attend (donations welcomed). Please check our website rascto.ca for a Go/No-Go decision based on the weather before heading down to the Square. In the event of bad weather, we will postpone and try again on Saturday, Oct. 26.
